This branding project was for an influencer's blog/platform where sneaker enthusiasts could post pictures to show off their kicks and streetwear. I took the name of the company, Wear Your Kicks, and artfully visualized it via hand-drawn typography in the shape of a sneaker silhouette. Using an abstract version of that same silhouette, I created a black-on-black, urban looking background pattern that takes cues from the 'elephant print' found on iconic Air Jordan shoes. The WYK founder was happy with the final outcome and how it connected with his tribe. Later, he closed down the site and joined adidas to run world-class marketing and social media campaigns.
